FRIDAY NIGHT MAYHEM!

Ashley Sharpe w/ Jason D'Masi VS Nolan Devlinson WINNER: Ashley Sharpe w/ Jason D'Masi

No strangers to one another, Ashley Sharpe and Nolan Devlinson faced off in the first match of the men's title tournament. Both competitors were incredibly familiar with one another's offense but Ashley would find himself several times nearly taken out of the match completely or stuck within a pinning situation that nearly got a three count on him. Several death defying stunts later, Nolan would find himself in the crosshairs of Ashley's muscle in Jason D'Masi who would take cheap shot after cheap shot whenever the referee wasn't looking. Despite the daredevil antics, the numbers game became too much for Nolan and Ashley would pick up the win, moving on to the next round.

Coyote Vandenberg Appearance

Following the events of the week prior, Coyote Vandenberg was backstage to deliver a message that she didn't exactly look pleased to be giving. That was at first, where she brought up the fact of losing, but she began laughing and heartily pointed out that her former tag team partner and current foe, Lilly Azuroth, only proved her point that got them to this dance right. In Coyote's opinion, Lilly continued to be the weak link and an absolute waste of space because she was not the one who got the victory in the match. Her chosen mystery tag team partner Rudy Anders did. While she was continuing to pour salt into the wounds of that fact, Coyote was ambushed from behind by the woman she was completely running down and an assault began on Coyote whose face saw more production cases and walls than anything else. This would escalate out to the ring where Lilly would completely unravel and continue to take her anger out on Coyote. Fans would light up over the fact that their chosen favorite Lilly was not taking things lying down and encouraged her the entire time, even chanting for tables. What the fans wanted, the fans got, and Lilly put Coyote through a table with her version of a Canadian destroyer, leaving her there almost lifeless as the fans cheered her on. Lilly would grab a microphone and lay down a challenge for Coyote to end things once and for all in a cage match. No other people, just the two of them, the winner ends the war. Lilly ended things with a mic drop onto Coyote and made her way to the back, fans completely enamored with the outcome.

Luca Tate VS WILDCARD WINNER: Luca Tate

Throwing a mysterious wrench into the tournament, two wildcards per both sides of the brackets were announced with rumors swirling on who those people may be. What no one was expecting, least of all Luca Tate, was the arrival of international star Bastian Ravenshaw as his opponent for the evening. The fans were buzzing with excitement as the two squared off. This match became an incredibly physical display between the two men who were more than happy to continue causing a ruckus with the fans. A few times the match would find its way outside of the ring and referee discretion was used to make sure that the match would conclude with a winner. The tides nearly went in the direction of Bastian who looked every bit as much the star in the ring as everyone knew him to be, but it would be Luca who would come out the victor in the end, managing to take out Bastian with a double foot stomp from the top rope. The two ended the match with honor, shaking one another's hands.

Ezra Fitzherb & Percy Lupton VS Rory Parker & Noah Dawson WINNER: Ezra Fitzherb & Percy Lupton

After a shock reemergence from Percy Lupton last week, he and Ezra Fitzherb made their amends and issued a challenge on social media this past week to any tag team or, hell, any two men on the roster to come and face them on this weeks episode of Friday Night Mayhem. There were a few tepid responses, but nothing concrete until Friday morning when a video response from Rory Parker and Noah Dawson surfaced. The ink on the contract was signed and the match was set and boy was it a barn burner. There was a split, even divide on the crowd's allegiances as the match went on, both teams seemingly with a plethora of support. As the British duo coined the term, there were plenty of sick fucking tag moves to be had from both teams and it was anyone's guess who would come out the victors because there were so many near falls in the match that the fans were left almost exhausted from how close it would come in such a competitive match. Noah would nearly score a pin fall on Ezra after clocking him with a stiff right hand and dropping him on his head with a gory bomb, but Percy would interrupt the count and nearly got plowed out of the ring by Rory, but he dodged out of the way in time to let him go sailing onto the mat outside. This set up a suicide dive from the smaller man while Ezra got Noah stuck in the octopus hold so tightly, Noah would tap out giving Ezra and Percy the win.

Winnie Cromwell VS Katyana Mikhailov WINNER: Katyana Mikhailov

The first match of the womens division tournament began with strength versus striking prowess when Winnie Cromwell came face-to-face with Katyana Mikhailov. The match would start out strong early with Katyana getting the upper hand by using that strength she had and over powered the smaller competitor in Winnie. Tides would turn multiple times in the match when Winnie would wear out Katyana with several strong kicks and dragonscrews to her historically bad knees. Winnie thought that this would gain her the win but Katyana would keep kicking out, frustrating the striker beyond belief. That frustration would be her undoing because Katyana would pick up the win for the match with a quick roll up as Winnie was arguing with the referee over a previous count that did not add up to three.

Skyler West VS Maxwell Lloyd WINNER:Skyler West

Even after the strong words spoken by Skyler West, he couldn't leave well enough alone and had to run his mouth some more on social media about how no one could beat him and his words were met with a response from Maxwell Lloyd who was sick to death about hearing him talk and talk and talk and doing absolutely nothing. He challenged Skyler to a match on Friday Night Mayhem and the two would face one another for the first time. Skyler tried every trick in the book to get the better of Maxwell, but not everything was met with dominance. In fact, he had his proverbial ass handed to him at several points in the match and if not for being close enough to reach the ropes, he was in severe trouble of tapping out to a figure four leg lock applied by Maxwell. The older man would eventually gain victory by the skin of his teeth but the celebration was short lived because on the titan tron was the very familiar face of Samual Moor verbally taunting Skyler's name in a sing-song voice to get his attention. The area in which he was in was not the studio arena and he made sure to tell Skyler to calm himself down because he wasn't going to get attacked at all tonight by him. In fact, he wanted to let the other man know that Samual was going to make his life a living hell every week until he saw fit to be finished with him. When the camera panned out, you could see the outside of a very nice house with the lights out and a car in the parking space. On the hood of the car was a gas can with matches next to it, a crowbar, and a pocket knife. Skyler, at the sight of this knew that this was his home and that car was one of his multiple vehicles and he began to start yelling obscenities at the large screen as if the yelling could be heard. Samual would end his video tirade by laughing and stating, "Wonder which of these I'm gonna use tonight!" The video feed would cut out, and Skyler was seen running from the ring, clear through the backstage area, and to the car he brought to work with him before he sped away quickly leaving fans to wonder what was going to happen next.

Cassandra Bishop VS WILDCARD WINNER: Cassandra Bishop

Another wildcard match of the evening, rookie to Abbott Pro Wrestling, Cassandra Bishop would go in blind to her match and would find out that not only was her opponent well known, she was someone who frequented Abbott Pro Wrestling in recent years. Her opponent would reveal herself to be Jesi Jay, coming off of an absence from the sport of professional wrestling after well over a year. Fans were elated to see her, which only drew ire out of Cassandra who, normally fairly agreeable, tried to get the jump on Jesi who was drinking in the adulation before the bell rang. Jesi would show that she had not lost a step in the ring from her time away and she took Cassandra to the brink and back. The two women fought like people who have had a fiery hatred for one another and the win could have gone either way after a long stretch of time, but the new kid on the block at Abbott Pro Wrestling would come out on top, defeating Jesi to go on to the next round of the tournament.
