FRIDAY NIGHT MAYHEM!

Lindsey Taylor VS Noah Dawson WINNER: Lindsey Taylor

This anticipated match between two highly regarded wrestlers kicked off to a lot of fan fare as the two locked up and began what would be an epic match. Noah wowed the crowd with a lot of unreal spots at a fast pace, even with his patented hands in his pockets move. He seemed to be a real match for the technical wizard in Lindsey who took Noah to the limit multiple times, tying him up as if he were a pretzel of sorts. The match felt like it had reached it's peak several times, but it would finally come to an end when Lindsey put Noah into a submission situation where he would eventually tap out only to find out that there was two seconds left on the clock. Lindsey would stay in the ring as the crowd roared to life with support for Noah, and he would show a mutual respect by shaking his hand and bowing before he left.

Ashley Sharpe and Jason D'Masi appearance.

The duo of Ashley and Jason came to the ring to what sounded like a congregation singing a chorus of boos directly at them. They ate this up without being offended and Ashley gained access to a microphone and began berating the crowd entirely. He quickly changed subjects and started to run down former and storied opponent Carter Lee. He mentioned totally destroying him at the Fourth of July festivities, stating he should have gained him independence by getting his ass fired for failing, but he came back for more and was decimated by Jason.

Rudy Anders VS Coyote Vandenberg. WINNER: Coyote Vandenberg

International star Rudy Anders makes her Abbott Pro Wrestling debut against Coyote Vandenberg who has had quite the go of it recently with former partner Lilly Azuroth. The match seemed to pit power versus speed as Rudy brought a lot of muscle and force against Coyote's quick abilities to thwart a lot of her opponent's strength based offense. Several times Coyote dodged a bullet and was able to kick out of a pinning combination, but ultimately she would come out the victor in the match, leaving the ring with the message that this proved her right, her former partner was the weakest link between the two.

Ezra Fitzherb's Debut and Open Challenge. WINNER: Ezra Fitzherb

Another debuting international sensation, Ezra Fitzherb arrived to Abbott Pro Wrestling with a storied history of working some of the best independent promotions in the world and he came here to seek out new opponents and fresh matches. Earlier in the week he issued an open challenge on social media for any one member of the Abbott Pro Wrestling roster to face him this week on Friday Night Mayhem, and much to his surprise, a familiar face emerged from the back. Ryder Evans answered the call, ready to take on a former ally from their time in the UK. The match started out fairly evenly, both men finding answers for what the other was throwing out; a real tit-for-tat situation. That ended when the aerial specialist took Ezra out with a corkscrew moonsault. He would dominate part of the match until Ezra found a way back, taking the other out at his legs and proceeded to put Ryder in various positions of peril, one even going as far as to give him the grossest wet willie ever, as declared by the chants of the crowd who were quick to yell, "You sick fuck!" at Ezra. The two men would end their match with Ryder tapping out to the octopus hold, which Ezra was known for.

Akasha Corrigan VS Raya Williams WINNER: Akasha Corrigan

The always smiling Raya Williams squared off against the unusual and sometimes spooky Akasha Corrigan in a very physical showdown between two polar opposites. The crowd would be in full support of Raya, cheering her on as she gained the advantage over Akasha several times and Raya nearly put her away with the pounce, but it wasn't enough to keep Akasha down for the pin. She displayed an enormous amount of grit and determination after Akasha took advantage of a weaker moment for Raya who had worn Raya down with a multitude of direct attacks with fists, forearms, and even a heavy amount of kicks. Akasha had put her into an STF hold, but Raya would come back, showing her strength as she got out of that predicament and power bombed her out of the move. She had gone for the pin, but the presence of Erik Grim was felt as he had come down to make an ample distraction of himself. The distraction would cost Raya, giving the win to Akasha, who in the end had made direct eye contact with Erik as she passed by him on the way out, almost insinuating something a bit more sinister between the two of them; especially when Erik trailed after her with the biggest grin possible.

Korey Richmund VS Skyler West WINNER: Skyler West.

A showdown for the ages that no one saw coming, Korey Richmund faced off against self professed and actual legend Skyler West in a match that showed no age or ring rust between either man. Skyler seemed to take the lead after getting a jump on Korey before the bell even rang and he would keep blindsiding him before his ego got too big for him and adrenaline hit Korey hard, causing him to take the reigns about who was on top in that battle. He made quick work of Skyler, whose every attempt to get the upper hand would be thwarted, even when he tried to set up a table to put the other man through. That table would come into play later in the match, however, when things got dicey on the apron and the referee would take a rough landing through it on a count of Skyler. With the referee temporarily out, Skyler tried to take advantage of the situation but was knocked for a loop with a steel chair to the face, taking him out for only a moment. Korey attempted to help the down and out referee but was entirely blindsided yet again, but this time by a face absolutely no one expected to see ever again: Sam Moor. Sam would relentlessly attack Korey between the steps and even the announcers table before he wound up rolling both Korey and the referee into the ring as Skyler was coming to, and took advantage of the pin. The three count was agonizingly slow, but Skyler picked up the win in the most nefarious way possible. Sam met him in the ring, and when it registered to Skyler what was going on, he lit up like a tree on Christmas, and began to celebrate with his long-time best friend. The celebration came to a halt, however, when Sam immediately low blowed him with a knee to the nether regions and he held on to the other man's nearly tattered shirt to keep him up, arms embracing him in the most fake hug imaginable. The crowd was confused, indifferent, but most of all, they were surprised at this whole turn of events.

Eric Drahken VS Nolan Devlinson - UNSANCTIONED MATCH WINNER: Nolan Devlinson

The rubber match between two men that seemingly wanted to kill one another, Eric Drahken and Nolan Devlinson took this match to one another more than ever. The match being entirely unsanctioned caused the bloodiest mess in either of those men's careers and that was saying something. In the middle of the match, many onlookers became concerned for the welfare of Nolan after what looked like a career ending drop from the top turnbuckle onto the very edges of the steel steps on the outside after Eric rolled away to avoid being hit. In a shock move, Nolan would reach his feet and keep fighting like the drop never happened, but the red marks on his back told an entirely different story. It would take multiple chair shots, broken glass, a scattering of thumb tacks, and a barbed wire covered table to end this match, with Nolan becoming the victor; but with the two men in the shape that they were in... who really won here? That answer would be the fans, because not only did they see two men in a grueling contest of one upsmanship, but they would end the night seeing Eric express mutual respect much like earlier in the night with Lindsey and Noah, holding the other man's arm high and declaring him the better man.
