Cooper Kelly VS Lindsey Taylor; No Time Limit Match WINNER: Lindsey Taylor
Opening up the evening's show was the highly sought after and highly anticipated re-match between Cooper Kelly and Lindsey Taylor which offered no time limit to speak of so that they could hash out what wasn't able to be hashed out before due to the bell being rung. Just as everyone suspected, the match started out hot and heavy right out of the gate. The two men couldn't have gotten at one another faster and it showed how eager they were to play a game of one upsmanship when they each went for quick covers after impact moves, but nothing came out the other end at the top of the match. As expected, there were many different attempts at submissions to get the other man to say they quit, but Lindsey being a well rounded master of submission holds managed to work his way out of even the most uncomfortable of positions that Cooper put him into. In the end, Lindsey Taylor would win the match and the war after picking up the win with a unique pinning combination that put Cooper in a less than desirable angle that was hard to inch out of.
Raya Williams segment
Emily Smith was seen backstage with the peppy and upbeat Abbott Pro Wrestling Women's Champion Raya Williams who was then pressed for what her plans were coming up for title defenses and opportunities for others. Raya was more than gracious to share her go get 'em attitude and said if anyone wants a shot, they can have it because she is a proud and defending champion. Emily then mentioned the elephants in the room being that of Winnie Cromwell who seemed bent on getting a match with Raya after she ran through several competitors in the womens division, as well as Sherri Linwood, who had recently taken umbridge with the champion. Raya would sputter out laughter and shake her head stating anywhere, anytime with either women... or both at the same time. She didn't care, she'd beat them both. She was then interrupted by Sherri Linwood who walked into frame and simply said, "We do our thing on my time and my time is precious. Keep your title close and commit it to memory because it's going to be the only thing you have left when I'm through with you, and the locker room can continue to say 'Thank you, Sherri.'" Sherri disappeared after, leaving Raya clearly agitated.
Akasha Corrigan VS Lily Azuroth WINNER: Lily Azuroth
A strange obsession was observed from Akasha Corrigan when she started loitering around the matches that Lily Azuroth had, and she was called out for this behavior, which had lead to this match that was about to happen because Akasha had a whole other narrative in her head. The two women sized one another up in the beginning of the match, though it seemed as though Akasha was instantly playing mind games with her opponent, choosing first to keep her arms behind her back and letting her have that first shot. She celebrated the strike, but managed to duck a second and whipped Lily right into the corner where the lights seemed to go out in the arena. Once they came back on, Lily was cornered by Akasha's... boyfriend? No one knew exactly who Erik Grim was to Akasha, but the wrestling world had their theories. The sudden visual of him in front of her and Akasha sitting on the turnbuckle adjacent to her waving as if this were a fun little time startled Lily and when she went to move, the lights went out again. They came back on to Lily standing in the middle of the ring and Akasha behind her with Erik nowhere to be found and that's where Akasha would hit a back stabber on Lily, taking the upper hand after that. The lights out shenanigans happened a few more times, but what no one was really expecting was the final lights out moment. By then, the ref had been taken out temporarily. The timing of the lights didn't match up to the others and when they came back on, it wasn't Erik in place of Akasha. It was the sight of Charity Sully, along with Archer Thorn and apparently a newly acquired accomplice in Eric Drahken. The fans were buzzing the loudest they had been all evening from this sudden appearance, and Akasha was just as surprised as everyone else when she came face to face with Charity. There was a brief stare down before Charity would spit black mist into Akasha's face and both Eric and Archer disposed of Erik to keep him at bay. A confused Lily would watch on, but when Charity got out of the ring, and the referee seemed to stir back to life, she hit a finisher on Akasha and picked up the win.
Ashley Sharpe & Jason D'Masi segment
Emily Smith appeared backstage, introducing her guests at that time which were Ashley Sharpe and Jason D'Masi. Immediately cutting to the chase, Emily questioned why Ashley and Jason decided to stick their noses into the business of Bastian Ravenshaw. Ashley huffed a bit of a laugh as if he wasn't impressed with Emily's questions and gave her a derogatory name before going on and saying that Bastian was a nobody and he wasn't going to make it in this industry as long as he was around, but to answer her question, they did what they did simply because he was sick of these foreigners who think they're so fancy stepping up and trying to take over the company he so rightly sat at the top of. Emily, who looked exasperated with the rhetoric had responded by saying he was hardly at the top when he never even won the championship. Ashley called her delusional and added that he was done with the discussion and if Bastian or his little boyfriend had a problem with him, they could take it up with management because they're clearly too scared to find them otherwise.
Spencer Duquette VS Koji Kobayashi VS WINNER: Spencer Duquette
The ongoing saga of the Summer of Spencer Duquette had continued right into autumn as the down on his luck man had built his confidence back up match by match, but that confidence had become marred on a count of Kieron Laughlin who had been tormenting him from ringside until finally making his presence known, and vaguely outlining his intentions. When asked this week by the social media team for Abbott Pro Wrestling, Spencer simply said he didn't want to talk about it and just wanted to keep doing what he loved and winning matches along the way. This would put him in the crosshairs of Koji Kobayashi, who cited that since he was in the area for the moment, why not take on him? The match was made and here it happened with an onslaught of very innovative offense between the two men. While some would have thought that Spencer may have had a bit of an advantage going in with his height at play, Koji would prove it didn't matter how big the dog was because his strength and athletic prowess took Spencer out several times. Ultimately, Spencer would wind up picking up the win after a few grueling attempts to take down the Japanese sensation. Then, while trying to celebrate the moment, he was rushed by not only Kieron Laughlin and Jett Smith, but also Hank Wyatt and Iggy Gabris who all seemed very happy to help one another in this moment, taking abuse out on Spencer. The attack only lasted so long because help would hurry to the ring in the form of Ezra Fitzherb and Percy Lupton who would somewhat even the odds despite leaving their side one man down. The attacking group would back off with fresh blood in the mix, but it didn't stop Jett from talking smack to them as they backed up, and Keiron sending out fresh threats to Spencer about how this wasn't over by a long shot.
Aleki Mitchell & Mikaele Mitchell VS Maddox Fitzherb & Dylan Richardson WINNER: Aleki Mitchell & Mikaele Mitchell
The duo of the Mitchell Brothers were angry and looking for a fight against anyone that would take it because there was no one more hungry than they were and it was a travesty that they didn't capture gold the week prior. They didn't make excuses, and thought lowly of those who did, so they challenged any two men in the back who thought they had the fortitude to take them on in a real wrestling match. Surprisingly the two who answered the call were still relatively fresh faces to Abbott Pro Wrestling and had no real work under their belts as a tag team together. Maddox Fitzherb and Dylan Richardson had agreed to tag team that evening to showcase what they can do and maybe even pick up a win, which they were determined to do, showing out immediately after the bell rang. Their chemistry was quite impressive for two people who hadn't tag teamed before and several times in the match you could almost feel a seismic shift in their favor, but the brothers who had a longer tenure as a tag team and in chemistry would prevail, proving that they were a force to be reckoned with.
Harvey Grove VS Bentley Fehrmann; APW World Championship Match WINNER: Harvey Grove
This match was several weeks in the waiting and main evented the evening as Abbott Pro Wrestling World Champion Harvey Grove faced off against his first title challenger, Bentley Fehrmann. The wrestling world was buzzing about this match as the two hard hitters would end up putting on a belter that at times made Harvey seem almost as if he were full of vulnerabilities because Bentley would overtake Harvey several times and even take him out on a big swing that people surely thought was the end for the champion. Harvey would manage to roll out of the ring to avoid a pinning combination despite his dizziness and would come back hard after the fact. Both men would be busted open before the end of the match was over, but the victory in this vicious match would be the champion who retained his title. After the match Bentley would show respect by offering his hand for a shake and Harvey accepted.
