FRIDAY NIGHT MAYHEM!

Appearance by Lindsey Taylor

Lindsey Taylor graces Abbott Pro Wrestling fans for the second time after interfering in the Friendly Fire Tag Team Match between two great teams. He was greeted with a mixed reaction, and begins to talk about how boring professional wrestling has become and that it's the same old song and dance no matter where it is you go in the world; the same, repetitive high flying moves to satiate the fans who are living humdrum lives and need a little so-called excitement. He claims that he came to Abbott to see what's so great about this place, but judging by what he saw last week, it wasn't any better than the nonsense elsewhere. He addressed targeting Noah Dawson and explained that he didn't appreciate the way that Noah has such a lazy way of wrestling and he doesn't understand the hype behind him or why the fans enjoy his work, or even how he has any friends at all. Noah, along with his stablemate Rory Parker came out after the fact and in true Noah fashion, he simply replied, "If you're bored, come fight me." One mic drop later, and an irate Lindsey accepted the challenge, but not before running him down verbally, citing that this is exactly what he means when it comes to Noah.

Jason D'Masi w/ Ashley Sharpe VS Carter Lee WINNER: Jason D'Masi w/ Ashley Sharpe

Carter Lee set himself up for a night of pain as he challenged Jason D'Masi to a match following the match he lost against Ashley Sharpe the week prior. The match started out with a blind siding by Carter to try and get the upper hand on Jason, but it didn't seem to work. While he had every intention to win that match and had one near fall to speak of, Jason dominated the match heavily and would end up winning after a series of power bombs that left Carter nearly lifeless in the ring, much to Ashley's amusement.

Rory Parker VS Maxwell Lloyd WINNER: Maxwell Lloyd

Another first time match in the books, Rory Parker would face Illinois native Maxwell Lloyd in an exciting back and forth match that left fans speechless. They pulled out all the stops and no one knew which way that this match was going to go with each man getting multiple near falls and some even suspected that Rory would have picked up the win after absolutely clocking Max to the point of him nearly not responding when he was put in a sleeper hold. Max defied expectations and would pick up the win, closing out a very competitive match.

Mina Irving VS Raya Williams WINNER: Mina Irving

The smiling wonder of Raya Williams faced off against the slightly unusual Mina Irving in a fast paced bout that saw the two women at times beating the tar out of one another. The referee nearly stopped the match when Raya had what looked like an injury scare, but it wasn't much of one and Mina took advantage of the situation which would ultimately end up in her winning the match by submission.

Korey Richmund and Skyler West face to face.

In a highly anticipated moment after being advertised on social media, Korey Richmund as set to go face-to-face with Skyler West. Korey was the first out and waited for Skyler to come out and he did not. This prompted Korey to pick up his microphone and he goaded Skyler into coming out to do what the fans were waiting for. Skyler would eventually make his presence known, escalating things into a war of words between the two. Skyler reminded everyone of every little accolade he'd ever achieved over the years and there was quite a list to speak of. He mentioned what a legend in the wrestling industry he was and how Abbott can learn from having him there full time. Korey, sick of the self patting on the back of Skyler, challenged Skyler to a match, confronting him with the reality of if he's so damn good, how come he hasn't beaten him yet? Korey proceeded to name drop Sam Moor, a former partner and likely former ally to Skyler, winding the older man up even further with the narrative that Skyler has always played second fiddle to him his entire career. This would be the breaking point for Skyler, who would accept Korey's challenge for next week, but he didn't stop there, on a verbal tear to try and get his point across about how great he was. Korey had enough and knocked Skyler out with one punch to the face, leaving fans cheering.

Akasha Corrigan VS Lilly Azuroth WINNER: Akasha Corrigan

A first time match in the women's division saw Akasha Corrigan facing Lilly Azuroth. Lilly was coming off of the heels of an ill fated tag team match and was looking to pick up some momentum in singles action. She would impress with some innovated offense, but she would be met with a lot of very strange behavior out of Akasha that would result in very tactical mind games. These moments would almost always get her the upper hand, but Lilly came back strong and nearly would have picked up the win, but her former tag team partner from last week would come out to cast distraction and would help Akasha pick up the win herself. Coyote would take that time after the match to berate Lilly about how she was the reason they lost the week prior and she was nothing to anyone in that ring. Fans booed Coyote heavily for her actions, to which she would respond with a resounding double middle finger to everyone.

Eric Drahken VS Nolan Devlinson - No DQ match WINNER: Double Count Out

A rematch made mid-week by Abbott higher ups after many violent complaints were made by one of the competitors, Eric Drahken and Nolan Devlinson raise the stakes in their rivalry by adding a no disqualification stipulation to this match. It was every bit as violent as expected, Eric getting busted open early and Nolan ending up in spots where people thought he was genuinely dead. The other man would join Eric in the blood loss and the two of them found themselves in a bit of an undesired situation where the blood loss got to be a bit too much and after a physically exhausting spot where Nolan dropped himself from the top rope onto Eric who was on the outside in rapid fashion, the two men could not meet the ten count to get up off the ground, leaving the match with no single winner.

Baxter Irelund VS Erik Grim WINNER: Erik Grim

After a physically grueling four-way match, this bought was born. Erik Grim would meet Baxter Irelund in an incredibly physical match with two different styles going at it, but both of them seemingly meeting one another on every level up until Erik wasted Baxter following a verbal dressing down from the man who thought that Erik was not on his level and that he'd never pin him or make him submit. His claims were completely unfounded because Baxter would find himself on the other end of a pinning situation, leaving Baxter in a near lights-out manner. Erik would be met at the top of the ramp by Akasha Corrigan who seemed to have avid interest in the winner, and the two seemed to make an inaudible connection before Akasha wandered into the back, Erik following suit.

Oliver Halloran & Koda Greenwood VS Harvey Grove & David Thomas WINNERS: Harvey Grove & David Thomas

In the main event of the evening, the tag team of Oliver Halloran and Koda Greenwood would meet the duo of Harvey Grove and David Thomas in a match that came from Harvey cutting a social media promo about people who were considered flashes in a pan and when he went down the list of names, Oliver and Koda were on them. He cited being sick of the coming and going of people and where were the real competitors in the world of the sport of Kings? Backing him up was David Thomas, one of his three opponents last week, but someone he knew well and trusted which was a rarity in this sport. The match itself was grueling and dragged on at points just to punish the likes of Koda when the bigger man, Oliver, was down. Harvey and David would pick up the win and Harvey stated to cameras that this proved his point.
